Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software solutions for HMH control systems and products.
- Integrate control-system solutions with other products and systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and manage software deliverables.
- Collaborate with the aftermarket team to support the installed customer base.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve the reliability and capabilities of HMH’s digital technology portfolio.
- Follow HMH’s vision, values, strategies, policies, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering, automation and control systems, computer engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with HMI software such as WinCC and Cimplicity.
- Demonstrated proficiency with VBA, C++, and C# programming.
- Experience with Siemens PLC platforms using Simatic Classic, TIA Portal, and DasyLab.
- Proficiency with PLC languages including FEB, STL, and SCL.
- Experience with Profinet, Ethernet, Profibus, and Modbus industrial networks.
- Experience with industrial process or machine control systems.
- Experience applying control systems in the oil and gas industry, particularly offshore drilling equipment and pressure control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and database management such as SQL.
- Instrumentation and electrical-circuit experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- English and Portuguese communication skills are required.
