Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack web applications using modern TypeScript.
- Build intuitive user interfaces from Figma mockups in collaboration with product designers.
- Develop scalable and secure backend APIs using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
- Participate in code reviews, mentorship, pair programming, and technical discussions.
- Improve codebases, reduce technical debt, and maintain domain-aligned data models.
- Execute deployments, participate in incident response, and collaborate with DevOps on operational and infrastructure improvements.
- Write design documents and lead system-architecture discussions.
- Work with QA Engineers to ensure features are documented and testable.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with functional programming techniques and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- At least six years of frontend and backend web development experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and communicate and collaborate effectively.
