Base Salary

$140k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based full-stack web applications.
  • Architect and develop API-heavy, service-oriented, and microservices-based applications using RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Design and document low-level designs aligned with high-level architectural standards.
  • Apply design patterns and architectural principles to build scalable, reusable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Develop reusable components and frameworks across multiple applications.
  • Integrate Angular front ends with backend services.
  • Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure application quality.
  • Analyze and resolve complex production issues under tight timelines.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements using Jira and Confluence.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in containerized and cloud-native environments.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to application architecture, performance, and security.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a full-stack Java/J2EE web developer working on enterprise web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented design principles.
  • Expertise applying design patterns and development best practices.
  • Hands-on experience preparing technical documentation and low-level designs.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SQL, SOAP, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular 17 or above.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ IDEA, Apache Tomcat 9, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Oracle.
  • Experience with Oracle schema design, performance tuning, and efficient SQL development.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, API-centric applications, and distributed systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, secure API design, performance tuning, profiling, and monitoring tools is preferred.
  • Prior technical leadership or architect experience and experience mentoring or guiding development teams are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
