Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid voice recognition systems for embedded and cloud solutions.
- Analyze customer product requirements and collaborate closely with clients and R&D.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD environments and build systems.
- Support software release cycles and platform-release integration.
- Perform testing on development and infotainment systems.
- Investigate and resolve issues from reports and support tickets.
- Collaborate with customers, QA, quality management, and internal teams.
- Recommend improvements to technologies and services.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, preferably in automotive and Android-related environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, or Computer Linguistics.
- Knowledge of Linux as a host operating system.
- Experience with Make, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and GitLab Runners.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and Artifactory.
- Programming experience with Gradle, Java, Kotlin, Python, Shell Script, C, and C++.
- Ability to set up hardware for software development tasks.
- Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Experience with Agile development, unit testing frameworks, Atlassian tools, voice recognition software, or multimedia streaming is preferred.
