Responsibilities
- Execute software bring-up on customer hardware platforms, including NVIDIA Drive and Qualcomm Ride.
- Port and configure Linux-based systems, QNX, and Adaptive AUTOSAR environments.
- Integrate and validate drivers, middleware, boot-time configurations, and system-level diagnostics.
- Collaborate with Verification and Release teams to integrate hardware into test infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Work with OEM and Tier 1 teams to resolve hardware-specific integration issues.
- Develop automation for platform setup, flashing, health checks, and test execution on target hardware.
- Configure logging and secure boot capabilities across embedded automotive platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in embedded or automotive software development, ideally including hands-on platform bring-up.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python.
- Deep understanding of Linux-based embedded systems, including Yocto, systemd, bootloaders, and device trees.
- Familiarity with configuring and debugging QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR on target hardware.
- Experience bringing up automotive-grade SoCs such as NVIDIA Orin, Qualcomm SA8295/SA8650, Renesas, and TI.
- Comfort with hardware debuggers, flashing tools, serial consoles, and board support packages.
- Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, and I2C communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience integrating embedded platforms into CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to automotive verification environments such as HIL systems, Vector toolchains, and custom CI rigs.
- Experience in safety-critical domains and understanding of ISO 26262, boot-time determinism, and watchdogs.
- Understanding of secure boot, OTA updates, and system-level cybersecurity topics.
- Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Git, and JFrog Artifactory.
