Base Salary
$94k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, debug, deploy, and support application components and software systems.
- Build and maintain data integrations and pipelines for portfolio holdings, reference data, benchmark and index data, pricing, and performance workflows.
- Develop and support APIs and integrations across internal systems and external vendor platforms.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, validation, reporting, and other recurring processes.
- Support analytics platforms and environments used by data analysts, including dependency management and reproducibility.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across application code, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and Linux/Windows infrastructure.
- Participate in a 24x7 production-support on-call rotation and follow implementation and verification procedures.
- Collaborate with business partners, analysts, architects, and other application engineers, and mentor other Application Engineers.
- Maintain documentation for applications, data flows, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, business, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of technical experience in application engineering, data engineering, or production support.
- Experience with development languages, tools, and structures such as Java, OpenShift, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, GitHub, and Power BI or similar technologies.
- Experience with vendor package implementation and system integration.
- Experience with data pipelines, APIs, or system integrations.
- Experience troubleshooting across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Asset Management experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and process-improvement skills.
