Responsibilities

  • Complete instruction, assignments, technical assessments, collaborative projects, and career preparation during the FastTrack program.
  • Develop skills in backend, frontend, and full-stack application development.
  • Practice testing, debugging, code quality, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Learn to use generative AI to support development work and evaluate its output responsibly.
  • Prepare for interviews, professional communication, teamwork, and software development opportunities with Cook Systems clients.

Requirements

  • Hands-on programming experience and experience building software applications or development projects.
  • Experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
  • A foundation in frontend, backend, or web development and an interest in expanding across the full development stack.
  • Ability to participate in technical assessments, collaborate effectively, and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Prior experience may come from professional work, internships, college coursework, boot camps, technical training, or substantial independent projects.
  • Applicants should be prepared to commit approximately 25–30 hours per week for the 8-week program.
