Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver components for the Core Prime Brokerage platform using Java and Kotlin.
- Participate in application systems analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Improve CI/CD practices and implement automated testing.
- Diagnose production issues, implement enhancements, and improve system reliability.
- Participate in planning, estimation, feasibility studies, technical task breakdown, and risk identification.
- Collaborate with business analysts, users, stakeholders, and technology teams to clarify and implement requirements.
- Create and maintain project and technical documentation.
- Monitor and control development processes and provide user and operational application support.
- Recommend programming solutions, security measures, operating standards, and process improvements.
- Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior analysts and graduates.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Java and test-driven development experience are essential.
- Experience with Kotlin, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, Solace, TIBCO, SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3, OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, or Grafana is advantageous.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy.
