Base Salary
$147k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, efficient, high-performance data-path software for large-scale enterprise and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Design solutions for complex distributed-system and customer requirements.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and resiliency of distributed storage systems.
- Develop metadata-driven scan frameworks supporting self-healing, garbage collection, information lifecycle management, and data transformations.
- Collaborate with development, test, documentation, product management, support, and SRE teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Engage with customers and help resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
- Familiarity with operating-system internals, distributed systems, and software design and implementation practices.
- Hands-on experience with distributed-systems concepts and frameworks such as MapReduce, Zookeeper, and consensus protocols.
- Fluency in multithreaded programming and the ability to debug complex concurrency issues at scale.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
