Responsibilities
- Build, configure, manage, and support highly available GCP environments and production and non-production cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize GKE and Kubernetes clusters and Docker-based containerized applications.
- Implement infrastructure provisioning and operational automation with Terraform, Python, Bash, and related tools.
- Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes, GKE, and cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot GCP networking, connectivity, application deployment, scaling, availability, security, IAM, and cluster-level issues.
- Support migration and modernization of workloads from on-premises environments to GCP.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, access controls, and cloud security best practices.
- Work with application teams to resolve deployment and runtime issues and improve platform reliability.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of overall IT, infrastructure, or cloud experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with GCP core services, including GKE, IAM, Cloud Monitoring and Logging, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, VPC and networking services, load balancing, and compute and storage services.
- Strong hands-on Terraform experience, preferably including Terraform Enterprise.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, and containerized platforms.
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or GCP-native CI/CD services.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, applications, networking, security, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Mandatory GCP certification.
