Responsibilities
- Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic LLM systems for patient-practitioner interactions and healthcare workflows
- Validate hypotheses using offline evaluation datasets and A/B tests on real traffic
- Partner with machine learning teams on evaluation pipelines, security and safety guardrails, and metrics
- Develop and maintain agentic capabilities such as memory, reasoning orchestration, and tool adapters
- Ensure observability, fallback mechanisms, fail-safe behaviors, performance, monitoring, and security
- Own privacy and security by design
- Contribute to AI platform initiatives and best practices for agentic systems
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience with significant Python experience
- Track record delivering the full lifecycle of an AI product at scale, from evaluation and launch through production iteration
- Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Product orientation and ability to guide teammates through business and technical tradeoffs
- Strong focus on code quality and rigorous testing
- Willingness to share knowledge through pair programming and mentoring
- Comfort speaking and writing English in day-to-day team work
- Experience with production agentic systems is preferred
- Experience in the medical domain is preferred
