Base Salary
$167k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Otter Insights through data-intensive applications and customer analytics experiences.
- Ship full-stack product features using React/TypeScript, Fiber micro-frontends, GraphQL, and analytics APIs.
- Develop chat-with-data, data storytelling, scheduled reporting, dashboards, and a no-code Board Maker product.
- Build reusable frontend components and support the engineering community with shared platform capabilities.
- Partner with data and platform engineers on metrics definitions, data integration, and data correctness.
- Own quality and reliability through layered testing with Jest and Cypress and by building performance-testing frameworks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production web applications with ownership from design through launch and iteration.
- Deep frontend expertise in React and TypeScript, including component architecture, hooks, state management, data fetching, and accessible, performant data-heavy user interfaces.
- Comfort working across the stack with API contracts and backend or analytics services.
- Experience with analytics or BI products such as dashboards, reporting, metrics exploration, or financial and operational reporting.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, testing discipline, TypeScript rigor, and experience with code review practices.
- Product sensibility and experience collaborating with product, UX design, PM, and data partners.
- Preferred experience includes visualization libraries, Cypress end-to-end testing, internationalization, product analytics, or data platforms.
