Base Salary
$155k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems.
- Develop and optimize features through A/B testing.
- Optimize queries and relational database schemas for fast response times.
- Implement algorithms for monetary transaction evaluation, risk management, income verification, and predictive models.
- Integrate third-party APIs for millions of customers.
- Build product improvements and internal automations that reduce customer service workload.
- Implement interaction and motion design for improved user experiences.
- Automate visual testing and visual regression detection.
- Create mobile and web clients for upcoming products.
- Improve application scalability, reliability, availability, monitoring, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
- Experience using AI tooling efficiently and familiarity with best practices.
- Experience building API services, ideally in Java.
- Experience building end-to-end UI/UX features using React or React Native.
- Experience with SQL databases, including schema construction, migrations, and analytical queries.
- Up-to-date knowledge of JavaScript standards, including ES6 and later, and experience with TypeScript.
- Quantitative skills or knowledge and experience in finance are preferred.
- GraphQL experience is a plus.
- Kubernetes, Docker, or another container system experience is a plus.
