Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ServiceNow platform architecture across ITSM, CMDB, and additional modules.
- Design scalable solutions, data models, workflows, integrations, and technical standards.
- Lead technical design sessions, solution reviews, architecture discussions, and governance activities.
- Oversee Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer logic, and other complex configurations.
- Design integrations using Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and external systems.
- Ensure CMDB structure, relationships, discovery, service mapping, and data quality support operational processes.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, regression testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and standards guidance to developers and administrators.
- Maintain documentation covering designs, integrations, data models, and architectural decisions.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, application, business, and process-owner stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including development and administration.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions and platform governance.
- Strong expertise in ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM, plus hands-on experience with at least two additional ServiceNow modules.
- Advanced JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, and UI scripting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, process automation, Scripted REST APIs, integrations, and data exchange patterns.
- Experience with CMDB relationships, discovery patterns, service mapping, data governance, Service Portal, widgets, UI customization, Scoped Apps, custom tables, and application lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Data Fabric, Creator Pro, ATF, ITIL processes, ServiceNow data models, ACLs, and role-based access.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS in ITSM/CMDB/HRSD, or CTA are preferred.
- Ability to mentor developers and administrators, lead technical discussions, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
