Responsibilities
- Design and maintain test cases and test data with traceability to business and functional requirements.
- Execute manual and automated functional, regression, system, integration, and performance-related testing.
- Develop reusable Playwright automation using BDD frameworks and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review test coverage, identify gaps, publish actionable results, and recommend improvements to reliability and maintainability.
- Log and track defects, perform root-cause analysis with developers, and support timely resolution.
- Contribute to test planning, environment and data requirements, metrics analysis, and corrective actions.
- Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure tests represent real PSR and retail customer workflows.
- Participate in team planning, reviews, and continuous QA process improvement.
- Provide cross-training and constructive guidance to junior QA team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Approximately 4–7 years of hands-on software testing experience, including manual and automation testing for enterprise or SaaS products.
- Strong UI test automation experience with Playwright or similar frameworks, preferably using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Practical experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Knowledge of test design, regression strategy, risk-based testing, and end-to-end scenario validation.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured and basic performance testing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, defect management, and test management systems.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM, or similar tools is relevant.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience testing retail, planogram, store execution, shelf, PSR, supply chain, or other enterprise retail products is preferred.
- Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms, OAuth or SSO, and containerized or cloud-based execution grids is preferred.
