Base Salary
$79k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and define system architecture for new or existing software products.
- Develop software in an Agile, cross-functional Scrum environment.
- Design automated test procedures for software verification activities.
- Collaborate with the lead software engineer and software engineering team to establish and develop automated tools.
- Develop Software Test Plans and Procedures for team software products.
- Develop CI/CD processes, tools, and deployment strategies.
- Interpret complex algorithms and requirements and provide solutions to advanced technical problems.
Requirements
- Software Engineer level requires 2 years with a bachelor’s degree, 1 year with a master’s degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Principal Software Engineer level requires 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, 1 year with a PhD, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date within the last 6 years are required.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access is required.
- Experience with Agile, cross-functional Scrum teams, the Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira, Confluence, SDLC, software development plans, and software engineering best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 or more years leading projects or driving schedule performance, DOORS, Cameo, MBSE, SysML/UML, systems engineering processes, technical leadership, and stakeholder communication.
- IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months is preferred.
