Base Salary

$89k - $168k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support one or more GBSD or SDS software development Scrum teams and improve process execution, testing, and release efficiency.
  • Attend Scrum team meetings and create Jira dashboards to monitor progress and execution efficiency.
  • Monitor process health, progress, stability, and performance metrics and recommend improvements to software leadership.
  • Use Jira, Confluence, Jazz, DOORS, and other enterprise tools as needed.
  • Advocate for Mission Assurance and communicate its value to stakeholders.
  • Ensure software complies with industry guidelines and contractual requirements for military weapon systems.
  • Promote employee engagement, collaboration, process improvement, rework reduction, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement Software Quality Assurance plans.
  • Evaluate, trace, and analyze requirements.

Requirements

  • Principal level: 5 years with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, 1 year with a PhD, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Sr Principal level: 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, 6 years with a master’s degree, 4 years with a PhD, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
  • Experience developing and implementing Software Quality Assurance plans.
  • Experience developing and using metrics for process health and performance monitoring.
  • Experience evaluating, tracing, and analyzing requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and liaise with local personnel, suppliers, and customers.
  • Preferred: STEM bachelor’s degree and experience with missile systems or subsystems design, construction, or sustainment.
  • Preferred: experience with process monitoring, data collection, analysis, metric reporting, peer reviews, code reviews, software build testing, qualification, and integration and test.
  • Preferred: ability to read and understand C++, Java, and Python.
  • Preferred: experience with SAP, DOORS, Jira, Confluence, CAMEO, and Scaled Agile Framework methodology.
