Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and scale AI-powered infrastructure spanning backend services, AI pipelines, frontend dashboards, and background workers.
- Develop LLM communication pipelines for message classification, contextual response generation, enrichment, and human approval gates.
- Build sales intelligence, trend intelligence, content quality, automated lead qualification, and AI executive-assistant systems.
- Maintain and improve RAG systems using embeddings, chunking, re-ranking, hybrid search, tool use, and function calling.
- Build async ingestion workers, semantic search APIs, scheduled jobs, Slack integrations, scheduling workflows, and autonomous email operations.
- Optimize LLM cost, latency, accuracy, and performance while adding observability, tracing, and AI usage dashboards.
Requirements
- Production LLM experience with Claude or OpenAI deployed in live systems.
- Experience building RAG systems involving embeddings, retrieval, chunking, and context handling.
- At least 3 years of TypeScript and Node.js experience.
- 2–3 years building end-to-end production systems across backend services, AI pipelines, and frontend dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Strong React skills, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with PostgreSQL queries, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with API integrations, OAuth, webhooks, Linux servers, SSH, log analysis, debugging, and deployments.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Terraform, and Docker.
- Availability during Eastern Time business hours.
- Preferred experience includes multi-agent LLM orchestration, Anthropic Claude prompt engineering and tool use, pgvector, Pinecone, Slack API and bot development, Meta, Google, and LinkedIn advertising APIs, LLM observability, Cursor, and Claude Code.
