Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of ION’s products from requirements through delivery.
- Design, develop, train, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models and generative AI solutions.
- Work with language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and ship scalable, efficient, high-impact products.
- Solve complex technical problems and translate them into production solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a STEM discipline, obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record.
- Programming experience in one or more of Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
- Based in Italy or willing to relocate.
- Non-EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit and applicants must currently hold the full legal right to work in Italy.
