Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and execution of consolidating multiple customer identity platforms into a unified CIAM solution.
- Own CIAM product strategy and roadmap in partnership with product, marketing, and business stakeholders.
- Operate user account lifecycles, login flows, MFA, password resets, account recovery, patching, health checks, and feature rollouts.
- Develop and maintain API integrations and microservices connecting CIAM with loyalty programs, CRMs, and marketing technology systems.
- Support mobile user interfaces and authentication journeys, including login and onboarding.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, resilience, and platform observability.
- Respond to customer identity security incidents involving credential stuffing, bots, fraud, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct business reviews covering platform health, migration progress, and fraud metrics.
- Analyze fraud and customer-support trends to balance security, conversion, customer experience, and support efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience executing a full-scale CIAM platform migration from start to finish.
- Advanced expertise in session token management, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and API-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with multiple major CIAM platforms such as Auth0, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or AWS Cognito.
- Strong coding experience focused on microservices, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing or substantially influencing mobile login and onboarding interfaces.
- Ability to translate technical risks into business impact and manage communications during major changes.
- Experience analyzing fraud metrics and optimizing security without negatively affecting conversion or sales.
- Preferred experience with just-in-time provisioning or migration, privacy regulations, passwordless authentication, FIDO2, Passkeys, and high-volume seasonal identity platforms.
- Ability to participate in legal engagements related to data privacy and customer identity consolidation.
