Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an ultra-low-latency trading platform covering market data delivery and order submission.
- Design and implement trade execution and exchange connectivity solutions.
- Contribute to automated algorithmic trading systems with direct impact on production strategies.
- Optimize network access, hardware utilization, and program execution to improve system performance.
- Monitor and implement updates to cryptocurrency exchange protocols.
- Design, code, test, and optimize proprietary trading software in a collaborative engineering team.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Excellent C++ programming skills in a Linux or Unix-like environment.
- In-depth knowledge of low-level network and system programming, ideally including low-latency systems development.
- Strong understanding of computer science, algorithms, memory and concurrency models, CPU architecture, operating systems, networks, and performance optimization.
- Ability and willingness to write simple, well-structured, maintainable code.
- Experience with statistics, large-scale data processing systems, machine learning, or grid-based computing is preferred.
- Finance experience is not required.
