Software Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for commercial products and internal processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into software solutions.
- Design and review software architectures while ensuring application scalability, performance, security, code quality, and documentation.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
- Develop internal tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Support senior and principal engineers in maintaining design quality.
- Contribute to product introduction, cost improvements, schedule adherence, and problem resolution.
- Participate in technical design reviews and improve coding standards and software development practices.
- Develop and deliver structured technical training schemes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, .NET, C, C++, JavaScript, React, and AWS.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Strong software engineering expertise and experience with web technologies and version control systems in an industrial context.
- Ability to work across organizations in a matrix environment.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Experience with frameworks and libraries such as NumPy, PyTorch, and Sanic.
