Base Salary
$124k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug complex software products using systematic tests and maintain quality standards.
- Perform software tests on code and enhancements with limited supervision.
- Write test standards and procedures and maintain documentation of test results.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective action, and consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
- Ensure quality software integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
- Assist in technically leading or executing software test projects and support technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with other areas.
- Ability to solve complex problems using analysis from multiple sources of information.
- Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
- Ability to act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects.
