Responsibilities
- Design, configure, customize, and deploy Salesforce CRM solutions for insurance business processes.
- Develop client unification solutions involving deduplication, client identity and hierarchy management, and customer master data management.
- Integrate master data management and data governance processes across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, insurance core systems, broker portals, and third-party solutions.
- Mentor junior Salesforce developers and support collaborative technical delivery.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, QA engineers, integration specialists, and IT partners.
- Maintain CRM platform performance, security, data integrity, and compliance.
- Apply Salesforce configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, data modeling, and integration best practices.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.
- Provide senior-level technical troubleshooting, issue resolution, and support escalation.
- Monitor Salesforce, MDM, data governance, and insurance industry developments to recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of progressive, hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
- Experience providing technical mentorship and informal leadership to development teams.
- Expertise in MDM, data governance frameworks, and client unification within Salesforce or integrated environments.
- Strong understanding of insurance business processes and integration with core insurance systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and large-scale data integrations.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is required; Salesforce Architect certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Informatica, Reltio, or Collibra is a strong plus.
- Insurance or financial services industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
