Base Salary
$112k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and execute test plans and test cases for wireless features and systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Analyze test results to identify issues, inconsistencies, and performance gaps.
- Reproduce customer and system issues in controlled lab environments.
- Set up and maintain testbeds and lab environments containing routers, switches, and access points.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to debug and resolve issues.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot and Cursor to improve testing efficiency and automation.
Requirements
- Meet one education and experience path completed within the past three years or expected within the next 12 months: a master’s degree with zero years of work experience, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of work experience.
- Have qualifying education and work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Have strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Have a basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, and networking concepts.
- Demonstrate analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and detail-oriented troubleshooting skills.
- Be interested in AI-enabled engineering practices and using AI tools to improve productivity.
- Preferably have exposure to routers, switches, and access points through coursework, labs, or internships.
- Preferably have experience setting up small network environments and basic knowledge of Wi-Fi and 802.11.
- Certifications such as CCNA, or progress toward CCNA, are preferred.
