Summer 2027 Intern - Software Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Contribute to real software engineering projects affecting Salesforce products, platforms, and AI-powered experiences.
- Help develop solutions involving agentic technologies and workflows that impact Salesforce customers.
- Apply object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures to practical engineering problems.
- Use and critically review code and artifacts generated by AI-assisted development tools.
- Collaborate with teammates and communicate technical ideas effectively.
- Use telemetry and metrics to support operational excellence where applicable.
Requirements
- Be enrolled and currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Return to school after Summer 2027 to complete the degree.
- Be enrolled at a college or university in North America.
- Demonstrate understanding of object-oriented programming and design, algorithms, data structures, and core computer science fundamentals.
- Have hands-on experience or strong curiosity with AI-assisted development tools and an eagerness to use them in engineering workflows.
- Demonstrate collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, adaptability, self-motivation, and learning skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, or other agent-based frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include SQL and relational database coursework, Java and JavaScript proficiency, related frameworks, HTML and web technologies, and front-end and back-end language knowledge.
- Preferred qualifications include experience reviewing LLM-generated code, guiding AI tools, and using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
