Base Salary
$159k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform design and security reviews and prioritize remediation with service teams.
- Create, update, and maintain threat models for software projects.
- Conduct manual and automated secure code reviews, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Develop security automation tools and integrate security tooling into development workflows.
- Perform adversarial security analysis and investigate vulnerabilities, security findings, and compliance gaps.
- Provide security architecture, design, compliance, and secure-development guidance to application teams.
- Deliver security training and outreach for internal development teams.
- Escalate security issues and provide recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Influence partner processes, priorities, and decisions using data to improve security outcomes.
- Contribute to recruiting, mentoring, backlog management, and administrative activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- At least 4 years of scripting, programming, or security code review experience in a common language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience implementing security solutions across teams.
- Knowledge of or experience integrating common cloud-hosted services.
- Preferred experience with AWS products and services.
- Preferred programming experience with Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- Preferred knowledge of command-line tools for troubleshooting protocols, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks.
- Strong technical, strategic, written, oral communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-influence skills.
