Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, maintenance, testing, and debugging of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Drive innovation and engineering best practices within the software development team.
- Provide on-call support as required.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of software development experience with leadership qualities.
- At least 8 years of mainframe experience with Assembler, COBOL, CICS, Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- At least 8 years of experience with SQL databases.
- At least 8 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- At least 8 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
- Current valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.
