Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Framework web parts and extensions, Microsoft Teams applications, and Outlook add-ins.
- Develop Microsoft Graph and REST API integrations across SharePoint, Teams, Exchange/Outlook, and Microsoft 365 services, including bidirectional content and metadata synchronization.
- Build and operate Azure cloud-native backend services using Azure Functions, Storage, Service Bus, and API Management with event-driven and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization, including Entra ID app registrations, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, consent and permission management, credential rotation, and cross-tenant single sign-on.
- Design relational data models and optimize SQL Server schemas, indexes, queries, and large-scale workloads.
- Diagnose integration issues involving Microsoft 365, Azure, browsers, and third-party platforms, including CORS, throttling, tenant configuration, dependency, and versioning problems.
- Investigate client escalations with Support and Professional Services, reproduce issues, communicate findings, and convert root-cause analysis into product and operational improvements.
- Own features from architecture and design through implementation, testing, release, and post-production support.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical documentation, mentorship, requirements refinement, estimation, and release delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong object-oriented development skills in C# and .NET, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and maintainable, testable code.
- Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills with hands-on SharePoint Framework experience.
- Experience integrating Microsoft Graph and REST APIs across Microsoft 365 services.
- Production experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO, application registration, consent management, and delegated versus application permissions.
- Strong SQL and relational database design skills with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to clients, support teams, and developers.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional, geographically distributed development teams.
- Experience with Enterprise Content Management, Content Services, or Information Management platforms and concepts such as records management, retention, governance, classification, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including reviewing, validating, testing, and maintaining generated code.
