Responsibilities
- Develop greenfield and modified software, primarily in Java, and use other languages, tools, and frameworks as needed.
- Translate proofs of concept into demonstrators and minimum viable products.
- Integrate technologies, systems, and software components into working end-to-end solutions.
- Assess new technologies and determine how they can support product development and innovation.
- Think at system level and evaluate architecture, dependencies, and integration impacts.
- Support technical decisions and the transition from prototypes to production-ready solutions.
- Explain technology choices in terms of business value, product goals, and customer needs.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills and experience developing new software and modifying existing solutions.
- Experience with Java and willingness to work with multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience combining multiple technologies and systems into functional solutions.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and solve technical challenges pragmatically.
- Experience or affinity with technology integration, API integrations, legacy environments, third-party solutions, and Linux.
- Ability to think at system level and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong product thinking, business awareness, analytical ability, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
