Base Salary
$172k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead coding and delivery of frontend and backend services for fleet monitoring and management.
- Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting as the primary engineering presence at the Las Vegas autonomous vehicle operation center.
- Interview and onboard future hires, mentor junior engineers, and define collaboration workflows across Las Vegas and Singapore.
- Partner with Operations, Product, and TPMs to translate fleet challenges into actionable technical requirements.
- Own the vision and roadmap for fleet management and orchestration systems.
- Create feedback processes and features that convert operational feedback into quantitative data for platform prioritization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and supporting production systems.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to design software solutions for complex operational problems.
- Experience managing stakeholders and communicating effectively with remote engineering teams.
- Proficiency in Golang or Python for web services and scripting.
- Experience building cloud services using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, OLAP databases such as ClickHouse, observability tools, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT is preferred.
