Base Salary
$164k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Unify and improve cloud infrastructure and services by building self-service platforms that orchestrate complex workflows and reduce manual steps.
- Develop scalable software in Node.js and JavaScript spanning user interfaces, APIs, databases, queueing, and event notification systems.
- Use NoSQL and MongoDB to develop large self-service platforms and APIs.
- Package containerized services for software release integration and use Kubernetes to deliver virtualized infrastructure.
- Perform event queuing and subscription services with Kafka to trigger and consume events.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and translate business and stakeholder requirements into functional platform engineering objectives.
- Mentor junior developers, perform team code reviews, develop improvement plans, and help the team execute sprint goals.
- Provide program-level reporting for features assigned to the Agile team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
- At least 5 years of experience using JavaScript for frontend capabilities supporting Node.js.
- At least 4 years of experience using Node.js, NoSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and compartmentalized software architecture for scalable platforms.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kafka event queuing and subscription services.
