Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend and mid-tier services using Golang.
- Build scalable, secure, high-throughput RESTful and event-driven APIs.
- Contribute to backend services written in Java and Python.
- Develop microservices and middleware for internal and external system integration.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, performance tuning, and observability.
- Participate in system design and architecture decisions involving scalability and resilience.
- Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations.
- Improve platform resilience, integration efficiency, developer productivity, and customer value.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of backend or platform engineering experience in enterprise or product-driven environments.
- Strong hands-on, production-grade Golang experience.
- Experience with Java and/or Python for backend or mid-tier development.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes high-throughput or low-latency Golang systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, service mesh, API gateways, observability tools, security practices, authentication and authorization patterns, product-led or platform modernization programs, and BFF patterns.
