Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software developers while contributing hands-on technical direction.
- Design and implement Java-based applications and define application objectives and functionality.
- Analyze user requirements and align application designs with business goals.
- Develop, test, debug, and resolve technical problems in software and applications.
- Produce detailed design and user documentation.
- Recommend improvements to existing Java infrastructure.
- Define test scopes, create high- and low-level test designs, execute tests, verify results, track issues, and support test automation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of backend development experience, including at least 5 recent years of Java experience.
- Strong experience with frontend development technologies, including Angular and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, MVC, AOP, Maven, Spring Cloud, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience with Angular, Material, Reactive Forms, GitLab CI/CD, Linux, and Shell.
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or other non-relational database technologies.
- Knowledge of software testing theory, test-driven design, test execution, test verification, issue tracking, and test automation.
- Experience with Cucumber for Karate testing is desirable.
- Knowledge of telecommunications or fintech is advantageous.
- Experience with Camunda, public cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Grafana, Prometheus, or Elasticsearch is desirable.
- Knowledge of OSS business-chain and fixedNet fulfilment processes is desirable.
- Strong written and spoken English is required; German is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe is desirable.
