Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and test encryption, MFA, and access controls in tactical software.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, security regression testing, and penetration-testing support.
- Develop security requirements, reviews, and documentation for NCS upgrades.
- Validate secure cloud data pipelines and remote access using zero-trust, VPNs, and gateways.
- Support RMF/ATO activities, patch assessments, compliance checks, and government security testing.
- Track and remediate security findings during Agile sprint cycles and present results at technical interchange meetings and reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 4–7 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Experience coding and testing security controls using C, C++, Python, or Java.
- DoD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+, CySA+, CASP+, or CISSP.
- Hands-on experience with encryption, MFA, access control, vulnerability assessment, and Agile development.
- Familiarity with RMF/ATO, secure cloud integration, DIL operations, and secure remote access.
