Responsibilities
- Lead engineers in building full-stack software to orchestrate custom automated and manual workflows.
- Collaborate with mechanical and other engineers to design and control rearing and release automation systems.
- Collect feedback from partners and end users internationally.
- Build data pipelines and analytics dashboards for mosquito production, release, and population insights.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices to improve development and deployment processes.
- Automate management of on-premises Linux servers and Google Cloud Platform workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience across backend and frontend codebases.
- At least 3 years of software design and architecture experience.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 3 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience developing software for physical hardware, computer vision or machine learning products, web applications, cloud software, computer networking, Linux, or operating system development and administration.
