$128k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-charge, state-of-health, and state-of-power algorithms for lithium-sulfur batteries.
- Develop and maintain embedded governing software for BMS controllers.
- Lead integration of BMS hardware and software with battery packs.
- Test and validate BMS systems with lithium-sulfur battery packs.
- Collaborate across teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and participate in technical reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of battery management system engineering experience.
- Experience developing BMS software and state-estimation algorithms for battery packs.
- Experience with BMS and battery modeling in Simulink.
- Familiarity with battery management system hardware.
- Experience with BMS controls such as cell balancing and protection.
- Strong computer programming skills.
- Knowledge of drone hardware and flight profiles is a plus.
- Ability to wear required PPE and stand for prolonged periods.

- Base salary range of $128,200.00–$192,400.00, plus eligibility for a tier-based bonus and equity.
