Base Salary
$175k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product development in collaboration with product and design leadership.
- Architect and optimize full-stack components that process and render complex interactive data streams.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable APIs and data-flow architectures.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive, feature-rich user interactions with design, research, and leadership teams.
- Manage and scale backend systems and cloud infrastructure for reliability and observability.
- Maintain infrastructure supporting core platform integrations and public-facing web systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience building production applications at scale.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, or similar modern web technologies, plus strong proficiency in Python for backend logic and data pipelines.
- Deep experience with distributed systems, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and integrating frontend components with backend services.
- Experience collaborating with design, product, research, and infrastructure teams to ship user-facing products.
- Experience authoring clean, performant code for scalable backend architectures.
- Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build and deployment processes, and testing.
- Experience with experimentation and iterative development.
- Preferred experience building high-throughput messaging pipelines, real-time data systems, and complex web applications.
- Preferred product sense and experience as a founder or early engineer building a product from ideation to launch.
