Responsibilities
- Develop specialized software tools and simulation platforms for analog mixed-signal circuit design.
- Create software models and representations of future hardware circuits.
- Build automation frameworks, optimization algorithms, and modeling environments for circuit designers.
- Develop underlying tools that enable large numbers of hardware designers to create physical interfaces for custom silicon.
- Apply modern software design methods to hardware design and collaborate with design engineers to gather requirements and drive adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming and software architecture design.
- Preferred experience with data storage systems, schema design, and database architecture.
- Preferred knowledge of event-driven programming and system-level simulation frameworks.
- Preferred experience developing web applications and frontend user interfaces, such as with Flask and React.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, packaging, and deployment, including Docker or cloud environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
