Base Salary
$125k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop behavior software using ML components for highway, city, and off-road driving.
- Design and implement planning modules for autonomous vehicle navigation.
- Use lightweight map data and perception-system outputs to determine driving costs for planning.
- Deploy planning modules to production hardware and test them in the field.
- Collaborate with customer engineers and manage customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
- Experience developing planning solutions for autonomous vehicles or other mobile robots.
- Fluency writing modern, high-performance C++ code.
- Experience shipping code for robotics or autonomous vehicles.
- Preferred: MSc or PhD in computer science or applied mathematics with planning coursework or research experience.
- Preferred: experience writing safety-critical C++ software.
- Preferred: hands-on experience developing and testing planning algorithms on an autonomous vehicle.
