Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision algorithms for augmented reality, device localization, and future user experiences.
- Build robust and efficient algorithms that address real-world sensing and perception challenges.
- Support external teams that use the organization’s algorithms.
- Contribute to low-level, cross-platform engineering efforts.
- Participate in code reviews and advocate for high-quality results.
- Collaborate with designers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful product technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in C++.
- Familiarity with classical and machine-learning-based computer vision.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with visual-inertial sensing, localization, mapping, and SLAM.
- Preferred: strong foundation in 3D geometric computer vision.
- Preferred: experience developing, training, and tuning domain-specific computer vision ML models.
- Preferred: proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Preferred: strong programming, system-building, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and delivery skills.
