Lead Software Engineer - Data Platform

- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and delivers secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Reviews and debugs code written by other engineers and promotes high-quality engineering practices.
- Leads team adoption of approved AI-assisted tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and incident/root-cause analysis.
- Establishes standards for validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Identifies and automates recurring issue remediation to improve operational stability.
- Leads technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture and system integration.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience for specified NAMR/APAC, India, LATAM, and Hong Kong locations, or advanced applied experience under applicable EMEA/LATAM-Brazil guidance.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development practices and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
