Base Salary
$159k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical security guidance to mitigate identified risks.
- Review and improve security processes for greater security and efficiency.
- Solve security problems requiring novel methods or approaches.
- Guide engineering teams in building and using GenAI securely.
- Conduct and support threat modeling, code reviews, and security testing.
- Mentor and guide security champions embedded in engineering teams.
- Make risk-based technical trade-offs and collaborate with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or at least three years of relevant scripting, programming, and security code review experience.
- At least three years of scripting, programming, or security code review experience in Python, Java, C++, or another common programming language.
- At least three years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
- Knowledge of industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
- Preferred experience with AWS products and services.
- Preferred experience with application security frameworks, security code reviews, incident response, security infrastructure, penetration testing, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, or identity and access controls.
- Preferred deep understanding of GenAI security and experience reviewing GenAI platforms.
