Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, implement, and test embedded firmware solutions for industrial crane products and variable frequency drives.
- Develop real-time embedded software using C, C++, and assembly.
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing with project peers.
- Implement code using JIRA, TFS/Visual Studio, code reviews, and a controlled development workflow.
- Work with New Product Development teams and travel up to 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience developing embedded software in C, C++, and assembly.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test real-time embedded software for industrial products.
- Working knowledge of electronic circuits and ability to read schematic diagrams.
- Experience with test and debugging tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Preferred experience with test- or behavior-driven development, USB, RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI, I2C, and RTOS.
- Strong problem-solving, analysis, time-management, collaboration, and deadline-management skills.
