Base Salary
$300k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of computer-use and browser-control product surfaces, including scoping, building, shipping, measuring, and iterating.
- Diagnose and resolve reliability and robustness issues in the computer-use agent harness.
- Partner with computer-use researchers and the Claude Cowork team on shared surfaces, integrations, and knowledge-worker workflows.
- Instrument products and use usage data to prioritize work and measure progress.
- Translate ambiguous user pain points into concrete features for knowledge workers.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping a product from zero to one with end-to-end ownership as a founding or early startup engineer or through equivalent ownership at a larger company.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, including production web frontend and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompting, or agent frameworks.
- Track record of shipping products to external users and iterating based on feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include browser, desktop, or robotic process automation experience; machine-learning evaluation or quality-harness experience; SQL, notebooks, and product metrics experience; and experience designing agent loops, tool integrations, or LLM guardrails.
Benefits
- Annual compensation is listed at $300,000–$320,000 USD.
- Staff are currently expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office time.
