Responsibilities
- Design and execute UI and API performance strategies, including load and stress testing.
- Build scalable, reusable test frameworks and automation scripts that simulate real-world usage.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-driven engineering decisions.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and help establish observable, stable, scalable environments.
- Track quality KPIs such as critical path coverage and defect escape, and improve engineering practices.
- Triage issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Review code, share testing best practices, coach collaborators, and help teams build testable systems.
- Maintain documentation and playbooks and explore AI-driven test generation, anomaly detection, and regression strategies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation.
- Strong coding skills in C# or a similar modern programming language.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar tools.
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Selenoid.
- Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, Jira, and XRay.
- Ability to work across Windows and Linux environments.
- Understanding of modern software testing and Agile delivery.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Preferred: experience using AI in testing, including GitHub Copilot or MCP concepts.
- Preferred: familiarity with Elastic Stack or messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
- Preferred: exposure to hardware simulation or end-to-end system testing.
