Responsibilities
- Plan and roll out Avaloq products across controlled test, integration, and production environments.
- Own end-to-end delivery of software releases into live environments for assigned customers.
- Validate release scope with project and delivery managers and ensure technical go-live validation is completed and reported.
- Create and manage implementation plans, release meetings, and production cutovers.
- Manage software packaging, code merges, and log analysis for Avaloq core and front platforms.
- Coordinate cross-domain implementation activities with technical specialists and internal and external stakeholders.
- Document and educate users on release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment management best practices.
- Support clients during SDLC phases, go-live events, weekend releases, on-call services, and unscheduled hot-fix releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Seven years of overall experience, including three to five years of release management and/or configuration management experience.
- Experience with Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, Gerrit, Bitbucket, or other source code management tools.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and automate recurring administrative activities.
- Experience with conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and multicultural matrix teams.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Willingness to work weekend and mid-shift schedules and provide extended support beyond scheduled shifts.
- Knowledge of Avaloq Front Platform and mobile application releases is a bonus.
- Experience with Avaloq ICE release stream creation, cutover, Shell scripting, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Container Platform is a bonus.
- Agile, Oracle Cloud, or ITIL certification is a bonus.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments and write technical documentation such as Confluence documentation.
- Analytical, reliable, service-oriented, and problem-solving approach.
