Responsibilities
- Plan and roll out Avaloq products in controlled environments.
- Own end-to-end delivery of releases into live environments.
- Create and manage implementation plans, release meetings, and production cutovers.
- Validate release scope with project managers and delivery managers.
- Ensure technical release validation is completed and reported for go-live.
- Perform software packaging, deployment, and log analysis.
- Support customers through software development lifecycle phases and go-live.
- Document and educate users on release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment-management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 3 to 7 years of Release Management or Configuration Management experience in the banking and financial-services industry.
- Experience with Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Git/GitHub, or other source-code management tools.
- Experience with conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and multicultural matrix teams.
- Willingness to work weekends or shifts depending on priorities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
- Preferred: understanding of Avaloq Banking System concepts, Avaloq Front Platform and mobile application releases, Avaloq ICE Release Stream creation and cutover, shell scripting, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, container platforms, Agile or ITIL certification, and AWS, OCI, or other cloud certification.
