Responsibilities
- Build and deliver application environments on Kubernetes platforms.
- Deploy and configure containerized workloads in cloud-based environments, preferably OCI.
- Implement Avaloq application platforms using Avaloq Environment Modeling and Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Provision and configure environments through standardized blueprints and automation frameworks.
- Configure runtime environments, networking, middleware, databases, external-service integrations, and application deployment patterns.
- Validate environments against operational, security, and performance requirements.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting configurations using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Support performance validation, readiness testing, go-live, stabilization, and handover to Run/Operations teams.
- Prepare handover documentation and provide project progress tracking, effort estimates, and status updates.
- Identify and resolve delivery blockers and technical dependencies while working with architecture, automation, and project management teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with containerized applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms.
- Strong understanding of containerization and application deployment patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with OCI preferred and AWS or Azure acceptable.
- Proficiency with Linux systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, collaboration, communication, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience delivering application platforms in project environments and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Very good English skills.
