Responsibilities
- Define and deploy Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components using Terraform.
- Provision, scale, upgrade, network, secure, and monitor OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines for predictable, scalable deployments.
- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain systems required to deliver Avaloq services.
- Administer and configure middleware, web application servers, and J2EE application servers including JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
- Perform middleware refreshes, patching, and full lifecycle maintenance.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise applications.
- Participate in ITSM processes covering performance, service, change, asset, incident, and problem management.
- Manage L2/L3 tickets with strategic third-party suppliers and participate in a 7×24 on-call rotation.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues across middleware, cloud, and infrastructure layers.
- Develop automation and monitoring scripts and maintain technical documentation.
- Support messaging and integration through queues and message exchange mechanisms.
- Collaborate with specialists across multiple domains to support cross-area activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong Linux knowledge; Windows knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS, peering, and hub-and-spoke network protocols and architectures.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Git for Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong CI/CD background including Jenkins, GitHub, and CloudInit.
- Basic understanding of software development and experience automating recurring tasks.
- Experience with J2EE servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
- Expertise in secure data transfer, SFTP, and queue management.
- Knowledge of SSL and digital certificates.
- Experience analyzing technical problems and managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
- Strong English communication, teamwork, customer focus, and collaboration skills.
- IBM MQ experience is a nice-to-have qualification.
